BTS PORT DOUGLAS PTY LTD:
15% cancellation fee is applied for all tours cancelled with more than 48hrs notice of tour departure.
50% cancellation fee is applied for tours cancelled between 12 and 24hrs prior to departure.
No refund for no shows or less than 12 hours notice of cancellation.
Full refund provided if tour or transfer is cancelled by operator.
Captain Cook Cruises:
All cancellations are subject to an AUD$50.00 administration fee per person. Cancellation requests must be made in writing, and we strongly suggest the use of registered mail or fax. Cancellations received inside 60 days of sailing will be subject to cancellation charges at the following rates:
30-59 days; AUD$200.00 pp deposit.
within 15-29 days; 50% of fare.
14 days or less; 100% of fare.
no-shows at sailing; 100% of fare.
Cancellation fees, less the administration fee may be applied to another cruise if completed within 12 months of original booking.
Wildlife Tours Australia:
Although every effort is made, Wildlife Tours Australia shall not be liable for any illness, injury, damages, loss, delay or failure to join the tour that may occur due to factors beyond our control. We highly recommend all passenger have travel insurance coverage. Wildlife Tours Australia retains the right to alter routes, itineraries, fares, days of operation or even cancel tours if unforeseen circumstances occur. Other accredited tour operators may be used on some tours.
Cancellation within 7 days of departure will result in a 50% loss of the ticket price; Cancellation within 48 hours or failure to show will result in full fare forfeiture. $25 per person transfer fee applies to any transfer of service within 7 days of departure.
Wait-a-While Rainforest Tours:
Cancellation of scheduled Day Tours - In the event of the purchaser cancelling in writing 31 days or more prior to the booked start date a 15% cancellation fee applies; 4 days or more than but less than 31 days a 40% cancellation fee applies; 3 days or less a 100% cancellation fee applies but if re-sold fee reduces to 40%. Cancellation will only be accepted from the booking party.
Cancellation of Private Charters - In the event of the purchaser cancelling in writing 61 days or more prior to the booked start date a 15% cancellation fee applies; 31 days or more but less than 61 days a 40% cancellation fee applies; 30 days or less a 100% cancellation fee applies but if re-sold fee reduces to 40%. Cancellation will only be accepted from the booking party.
Cancellation by us – our liability is limited to actual monies paid to us by the booking party.
Re-scheduling – we reserve the right to make a service charge for re-scheduling confirmed schedules/dates & do so at a rate of AU$25.00 per item; we may waive this charge at our sole discretion if we consider the work involved of doing so to be de minimus.
Refunds – any refund agreed will be made via the reverse route to which the original funds were received using tax compliant processes.
AAT Kings:
Due to the Extensive organistion involved with touring, cancellation fees are applicable to compensate for costs and lost revenue. AAT Kings strongly recommend travel insurance to cover against such charges.
Cancellation fees will be levied relative to the amount of notice given.
Cancellations received within 1-6 days prior to travel will incur a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellations within 24hrs of departure time will incur a 100% cancellation fee (no refund).
The operator reserves the right to cancel tours and amend prices, itineraries and days of operation as required. Clients are strongly advised to take out travel insurance. At times it may be necessary to provide alternative transport. Refunds are not available for wet weather or for changing weather conditions.
Cairns Adventure Group:
50% Refund within 48 hours no refund if within 24 hours of departure
Bunyip Adventure Tour:
Passenger cancellation/date change of any tour, in less than 48 hours but more than 24 hours prior to a departure time will result in a 50% refund of money paid. Cancellation within 24 hours of tour departure or failure to take up a booked tour will result in a 100% forfeiture of the tour fare. Please note also that a “cancellation” includes a change to the date of a tour booking that requires the original booking to be cancelled.
Adelaide Sightseeing:
Cancellation of a booking, or part thereof will incur the following fees:
· More than 30 days before departure - $50 per person
· Between 7 & 30 days before departure - $50 per person or 50% of total cost whichever is greater
· Less than 7 days before departure - $50 per person or 80% of total cost whichever is greater
· Within 24 hours of departure - 100% of total cost
No refunds will be made for services not availed once travel has commenced. All refund claims must be made in writing.
Amendment Fees: Due to the complexity, staff time & communication costs of the booking process, a charge of $22 (incl GST) may apply to each modification made after the original booking.
Discovery Tours Australia:
Cancellation Policy:
Day Tours: Cancellations received within 24hrs prior to departure date and no shows are subject to 100% cancellation fee. Date changes are permitted (subject to availability)
Extended Tours: If cancellation occurs more than 61 days prior to departure a cancellation fee of $300 per person will be deducted from your refund. Cancellations occurring less than 60 days prior to departure will incur the following charges: 31-60 days prior 80% of Total, 30 Days or less 100% of Total Price. We strongly recommend travel insurance.
Gray Line Sightseeing Day Tours - Tasmania:
Cancellation fees of 50% may apply for a tour cancelled within 72 and 24 hours of travel. Cancellation fees of 100% may apply to a booking cancelled within 24hrs of travel or when no notice is given. Cancellation fees imposed on Gray Line by our suppliers will also be passed on.
Tours may be cancelled at Gray Line's discretion in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
